Popstar-turned-designer Victoria Beckham’s debut bag collection is set to become a hit after one of the first pieces to appear on the market sold out in 60 minutes.Just an hour after appearing on the website ‘net-a-porter’, the 2600$ shoulder bag from her self-named fashion label sold out. Since then, an 14,000$ crocodile-skin bag with chain handle has followed suit.
They were the first pieces from the new accessories range to go on sale, with the full collection to be available from February next year, reported Daily Mail online. Prices for Victoria’s handbag designs start at 2600$, though some can command prices of up to 27,000$. The six-piece range is built around the concept of 24 hours in the life of Victoria and the mother-of-three has been seen carrying nothing else since she got her hands on the
first prototypes.The designs, in matte calf leather and nubuck come in a muted palette of black, navy, taupe and blush pink.
The signature item is, of course, the ‘Victoria’ bag, a hand-held tote, but the most expensive item in the range is the unisex hand luggage, which is available in a number of
luxury skins including lizard and crocodile.
