There’ll soon be one less Michael Lohan in the world.
Don’t get too excited. It’s not nearly as delightful as it sounds.
The eldest of Lindsay Lohan’s younger brothers — Michael Lohan Jr. — is changing his name in a bid to distance himself from his infamously dysfunctional family as he prepares to star in his first feature film. The recent college grad now wants to be known as “Michael Cameron,” the moniker he’ll be credited under when he appears in the independent flick Growing Defiant later this year. The film will center on three lifelong friends from upper middle class Long Island, who have delved into the underworld of illegal drug use. In a curious turn of events, Junior – Er….we mean Michael Cameron — will play a doper in the flick, which is being produced by mom Dina’s Defiant Pictures.
“We at Defiant Pictures are beyond excited about Growing Defiant, it is a remarkable anti drug, right of passage, intense crime drama,” Defiant Pictures co-producer and partner Ethan Terra said last November. “Michael Cameron Lohan has that rare quality of being a great actor, deeply appealing, and perfect for the part.”
