Kirsten Dunst likes her imperfections
Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst loves her imperfections and would never change them. The Melancholia star told British newspaper the Daily Mail: “I like imperfections. People have said lots of times, ‘Why don’t you fix your teeth?’ For me, the people I respect are like, ‘Don’t ever fix your teeth!’ “So the aesthetic I migrate to is not the mainstream aesthetic. I think that it’s difficult to grow up going to the films where things are so perfect and that’s the idea of a movie star, too. “You see the star up there and a line or a pimple has been digitally removed so you look, well, perfect.” She says even her mother Inez, had previously told her to wear make-up to cover her lips. The 29 year-old added: “My mother’s like, ‘Your lips are pale, wear some red lipstick!’ So when we go out to dinner, I’ll put on the damned red lipstick for her.”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi got into a car accident — with the Italian police. So much for keeping a low profile!
The pint-sized star of MTV’s reality series Jersey Shore was taken into police custody in the Italian city of Florence on Monday after cops say she rear-ended a patrol car in front of dozens of witnesses. Snooks and the rest of The Shore Gang — including Vinny, Ronnie, Sammi, and The Sitch — are in town taping scenes for the fourth season of Jersey Shore…much to the displeasure of the local government. Officials in Florence had already banned the MTV production from shooting at some of the most famous locations in the Renaissance city (including the renowned Uffizi gallery and the sculpture-filled Boboli Gardens) and drinking in public before Snooki’s car ended up wedged between the cruiser and a highway wall.
Her Shore costar Jenni “J-Woww” Farley was riding shotgun when the crash occurred. She reportedly had to exit the car through a window because the door was blocked by the wall.

Shahid Kapoor Headlining Mausam Release Delayed
The release of Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor headlining love story Mausam is likely to be delayed in order to avoid a fratricidal clash with Ajay Devgan's cop thriller Singham.
Both the films are currently scheduled to hit screens on July 22.
A source close to the production team tells Sawfnews.com that Mausam producers have suddenly developed cold feet over the prospect of taking on Singham.
"Mausam was to clash with Singham, but the first rushes and promo of Singham have got rave reviews within the industry making Mausam makers question the wisdom of clashing with Rohit Shetty's action flick."
The Singham trailer has wowed one and all. It begins with Ajay Devgan making an imposing entry amidst the recital of shloka and features edge of the seat action.
"The action scenes leave one speechless and makes one go numb...the car explosion and Ajay Devgn's punch scene gives one goose bumps," a source who has seen the promo tells Sawfnews.com.
Mausam marks the directorial debut of Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur who has also penned the film's script. Shahid and Pankaj are invested in the film, both financially and emotionally.
Pankaj says he took three years to think and plan the script and 6 months to physically write it.
Filming began in June 2010 and wrapped up on May 25. Shahid dedicated the entire year to the film.

Smith, who is also a former rugby player, also hinted at trouble in their paradise.
“You don`t know what you`ve got til it`s gone.”
However, the posts were deleted later.

Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol Turn Social
Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have jointly launched a Facebook page and YouTube channel - both simply titled 'the deols' - to reach out to their considerable fan base, buoyed by the success of their recent film Yamla Pagla Deewana
Their new endeavor embraces social media and has the strapping of a contemporary day digital media campaign, but it's not what you could call a media blitz. You might find the Deol's rooting in tradition heartwarming, but remember it comes as a package. In traditional social interaction some aspects of life are off limits.
As Dharmendra says in his endearing inaugural video post, there is a line that we must not transgress from either side.

Blanchett under fire over carbon tax
Hollywood A-lister Cate Blanchett found herself under fire for fronting a campaign promoting the government’s planned carbon tax, with critics saying she is out of touch with ordinary Australians. The wealthy Oscar winner features in a new advert, funded by a coalition of unions and green groups, urging Australians to “Say Yes” to a tax on carbon.Australians are among the world’s worst per capita carbon polluters and Labor Prime Minister Julia Gillard has proposed a carbon tax to be levied on major industrial polluters by July 1, 2012.She then plans a full emissions trading scheme in three to five years. But the proposals are not popular, with the conservative opposition saying a tax would damage the economy and drive up the cost of living by making energy far more expensive, bumping up electricity bills.”$53 million Hollywood superstar tells Aussie families to pay up”, the Sydney Sunday Telegraph blared on its front page, referring to how much Blanchett is worth.”Cate Blanchett has proved she is just another morally vain Hollywood star trying to justify her great good fortune by preaching to the rest of us about climate change,” the paper said in a comment piece. The Australian Family Association said she was out of touch.”It’s nice to have a multi-millionaire who won’t be impacted by it telling you how great it is. It’s easy for her to advocate it, she’s one of the people who can afford to pay it,” the association said, according to the newspaper.”There are people who have no comfort zone and no room to move.”Blanchett made no comment but her co-star in the advert, Australian actor Michael Caton, defended his role.”I’m sure people will criticise me but I thought long and hard and I really believe in this, so I’m speaking up for it,” he said.Treasurer Wayne Swan said Blanchett was being unfairly targeted.”I admire people who speak their views and Cate Blanchett, along with many others, has a strong view that Australia needs to price carbon,” he said.”It’s the responsible thing to do for citizens to speak up.”The Climate Institute, an independent research organisation, also defended the actress.”There is a serious scare campaign going on,” spokesman John Connor told the ABC.
“So I am not surprised by some of the personal attacks. But what we’re trying to do is focus on the policies and the issues and that a range of Australians are well behind this campaign.”Earlier this month, a national poll by The Australian newspaper showed 60 percent of voters were opposed to a carbon tax. Only 30 percent of voters supported the plan and 10 percent were undecided.

Brad Pitt Confesses to be Contemplating Marriage
Powerhouse celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may soon be tying the knot despite having said they would wait until marriage was legal for gay couples as well.
Indeed, the Tree of Life actor, Brad Pitt told USA Weekend in a candid sit-down that tying the knot with partner Jolie feels like the next natural step for his growing family.
"The kids ask about marriage," he revealed. “It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at.”
At 47 years, Pitt believes embracing parenthood and nurturing a brood of six children, ages 2 to 9, has profoundly transformed him.
There are no secrets at our house,” Pitt says, “We tell the kids, ‘Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.' They go, ‘Eww, gross!' But we demand it.”
Jolie and Pitt have been the focus of pap-frenzy over the past years and like any loving parent would Pitt fears for his children’s safety. Worrying he says, “keep me up at night.”
“We're hunted. Our kids have to live behind a gate. Outside, there are people with cameras.
Despite all the media scrutiny, Pitt confesses, “[But] I'll take the trade-off. I never knew I was capable of experiencing so much love.”
Pitt confesses his brood of 3 adopted and 3 biological children with partner Jolie does “seems a bit extreme.” Nevertheless, he prefers it so. “I like extremes. I guess I've always operated that way.”
“Angie and I do everything we can to carve out some semblance of normalcy for them, to re-create the kinds of moments that were special for us. It's not unusual for the kids to be covered in paint. We have mud fights. It's chaos from morning until the lights go out, and sometimes after that.”
Traveling between sets and homes, Pitt describes his family’s life as “…pretty nomadic.”
“On the road, we're a military mobile unit,” he says. “The kids have got their stuff down to one backpack, and they're each responsible for their own bag. Mom does the packing; she's quite gifted at that. Puts in just what we need — nothing extra.”
In his upcoming film, the Tree of Life, Pitt plays a disciplinarian, sometimes abusive, father of three boys in 1950sTexas. The movie received a standing ovation at its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Brad Pitt 'Kids' We're hunted
Brad Pitt rues the media attention on his family that forces his kids to live behind a gate, but says he enjoys the love that the family shares.
"We're hunted," he tells USA Weekend in an interview. "Our kids have to live behind a gate. Outside, there are people with cameras.
"But I'll take the trade-off. I never knew I was capable of experiencing so much love."
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been in a stable relationship for almost six years during which they have progressed from being upstart lovers to responsible parents with a brood of six kids and multiple homes, yet public interest in their relationship remain intense; not without reason though, because the relationship wrecked Pitt's high profile marriage with Jennifer Aniston. Also, Jolie and Pitt came together carrying a baggage of successive failed past romances, some of which were turbulent.
Another reason why media attention has not waned is because Brad and Angelina have chosen to raise six children, when most parents find raising two a challenge. Three of their children are adopted, each from a different country. The size of their brood appears to make light of the parenting challenge, especially considering their nomadic lifestyle as film makers and actors working on sets around the globe.
However, Brand and Angelina take parenting seriously and a large part of of Pitts interview focused on their children and how, because of them, life has changed for the couple.
"Kids hold up a mirror to you," Brad says. "You can't make excuses. You've got to make sure they've brushed their teeth and eaten a good breakfast. You want to be present if they wake up with a bad dream."
As to their lifestyle, Brad admits, "We're pretty nomadic. We go where the crops are.'
He refers to the couple's multi-house Los Angeles compound as "our base camp."
They have leased a 1,000-acre estate - Château Miraval - in Provence, South France, that serves as their getaway.
Brad admits his family life "seems a bit extreme." But "I like extremes. I guess I've always operated that way."
Brad regrets not being able to give their children the carefree life that he enjoyed while growing up.
"On the road, we're a military mobile unit," he says. "The kids have got their stuff down to one backpack, and they're each responsible for their own bag. Mom does the packing; she's quite gifted at that. Puts in just what we need — nothing extra."
Brad and Angelina pace and space their parenting, professional and humanitarian endeavors to ensure they have time for each other.
"There are no secrets at our house," Pitt says. "We tell the kids, 'Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.' They go, 'Eww, gross!' But we demand it."
Brad said, "The kids ask about marriage," he says. "It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at."
Brad Pitt had told Ann Curry on the Today show in December 2008 that he will marry partner Angelina Jolie only if it is important to their kids.

Amy Winehouse's latest rehab stint has forced record label bosses to postpone plans to release her long-awaited third album, according to a U.K. report.
The British singer, who has long battled drink and drunk addiction, checked into The Priory clinic on Wednesday (25May11) to undergo a treatmentprogram, with the singer's publicist revealing she was admitted to make sure she is ready for gigs in Europe this summer (11).
However, a new report now suggests Winehouse's planned comeback is set to be delayed to give her time to recover fully.
A source tells Britain's The People, "She has finally finished the album and it's ready to go. They were just about to finalise a release date and then this happened. She is back in rehab for the foreseeable future soit is just a question of waiting and seeing now. But there is no way they can give a specific release date until they know she is likely to be out".
A statement from Winehouse's representative previously revealed, "She will remain at the Priory on doctor's advice".
Abhay Deol and Preeti Desai's Romantic Evening Out
Abhay Deol accompanied girlfriend Preeti Desai to Ekta Kapoor's three-film success party at her Krishna Bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai on Friday, May 27.
Preeti made her Bollywood debut with the recently released Shor in the City, one of the three films whose success was being celebrated. The other two films being Taaryanche Bait (Marathi) and Ragini MMS.
Abhay, 35, was hard to recognize in a thick black mustache, deep tan and dress shirt replete with tie. The facial foliage probably comes from his makeover in the currenlty filming intense political thriller Shanghai, being directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
Abhay didn't leave Preeti's side the entire evening and the soon to be engaged couple cheerily posed for photogs.
Preeti, 29, looked ravishing in a French Connection Corsage Shoulder Dress with a plunging V neckline, statement shoulders with a tiered ruffle design, stud trim, a fitted waist and a tie fastening at back.
Earlier this month, there were reports that Abhay and Preeti had postponed their engagement due to a death in the family.
"Preeti and Abhay are with each other around the clock, despite having separate addresses. There has been a death in the family (Dharmendra's elder sister passed away) and that's why they are not rushing their engagement. When the family overcomes the sorrow, Abhay and Preeti will exchange rings, maybe later this month or in June," a source told TOI.
Before meeting Preeti in 2008, Abhay was never reported to be in a steady relationship.
Preeti, a UK citizen and former Miss Great Britain (2006), dated someone in the UK for two years following her pageant win.
Preeti impressed viewers with her short and sexy role as a model in Shor in the City, but has yet to sign her second film.
Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Treated Like Royalty in Patiala! Posted on Saturday, May 28, 2011 (EST) Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor's arrival in Patial
Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor's arrival in Patiala recently for the third schedule of Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard, created a buzz in the former princely state widely regarded as Punjab's cultural capital, where museums, palaces and parks abound.
A member of production team told Sawfnews.com that the two stars drove to Patiala by car from Chandigarh airport; Kareena arrived on Thursday, May 26, and Salman a day later.
Salman and Kareena are staying and shooting at Neemrana hotel Baradari Palace.
Opened four years ago, the heritage-hotel is housed in a 19th century palace of Patiala Maharaja Rajinder Singh. The building known as Baradari Kothi was built in 1876. Baradari is an open pavilion with 12 arches.
In Bodyguard Baradari Palace is shown to be Kareena's house.
The hotel's manager tells Sawfnews.com that the filmmakers have exclusively booked the hotel from May 25 to June 23. A notice on the hotel's gate says it will remain closed to public until then.
The hotel had earlier hosted the Deols during the filming of Yamla Pagla Deewana - the sprawling house where Anupam Kher is shown as living with his extended clan.
The hotel with 11 suites and 6 rooms has been placed under tight security by its management, even though Salman is traveling with his own security detail from Mumbai.
Production team member arrived in the city well ahead of the stars to overlook the arrangements.
Other cast members joining the Patiala schedule include Raj Babbar and Hazel. Shatrughan Sinha is not part of this schedule, said the production member.
The three digit temperatures of Patiala are not beckoning enough for Salman to enjoy the sprawling gardens of the palace.
"Salman has been in his room which has been cordoned off by his security men since the time he arrived in the city," the hotel manager told us.
"We have not yet received any special requests from either Salman or Kareena but Salman did inquired about workout facilities in the hotel."
While Kareena plans to stay in Patiala through the entire duration of the shoot, Salman will be in and out of the city since Ready is releasing on June 3.
Sridevi Poised for Bollywood Comeback with 'English Vinglish'
Sridevi will return to the silver screen, after a 14 year hiatus to raise her family, with the film 'English Vinglish,' to be directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of R Balki.
Pre-production work on the film is already underway, the 47-year-old actress told Mid-Day recently.
Sridevi was earlier expected to make her Bollywood comeback with Mr India 2, but the film has yet to take off.
Sridevi credits the script of English Vinglish and its director for motivating her comeback after "spending time at home, raising my children."
"When I heard the script, I fell in love with it. I hope it turns out well," she says.
"We've already started working on costumes and the look -- we've selected the sarees," she added.
Sridevi, who will be working with a woman director for the first time in her career, is upbeat about the prospect.
"I've never worked with a woman director before. When I met her [Gauri] there was so much positive energy between us."
In the past, Sridevi has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films.
The last time she faced the camera was for the Hindi film Judaii (1997). Thereafter, she took time off to raise her children.
"I loved spending time at home, raising my children," she says. "Besides, being a producer's wife, how can I ever be away from the industry? I never felt disconnected."
Sridevi has so far won four Filmfare Awards, two for Hindi film, and one each for Telugu and Tamil films.
David Hasselhoff has healing powers
London, May 27 (PTI) ”Baywatch” heartthrob David Hasselhoff believes he has healing powers after his motivational message helped a youngster emerge out of coma. The 58-year-old star said his positive thinking has saved thousands of lives, reported Daily Star online. The actor also recalled an incident where he spoke in the voice of his ”Knight Rider” character Michael Knight in a bid to help an ill child.”The upside of being in showbiz is being able to hold the hand of a kid who is dying, you know. I did a tape for a kid saying, ”Hey buddy, it’’s Michael Knight, Michael Knight, come on, wake up, wake up, wake up”.”The phone rang and they said, ”Remember that kid you did the tape for that was hit at that crosswalk in London? Well we played the tape for him and he came out of the coma,”” said Hasselhoff. The actor, who later met the child, claims that such miracles have happened to him many times.”I went, ”Whoa, whoa”. He said, ”We played it once”. I met the kid at the hotel afterwards. I don”t want to be corny or anything but that’’s happened to me a thousand times all around the world because it can affect people in a positive way,” Hasselhoff added.
Linday Lohan Under House Arrest
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who showed up three weeks early at Los Angeles` Lynwood Jail, is now under house arrest.
A website reports that she was immediately determined eligible to serve her time at home, so she was fitted with an electronic ankle bracelet Thursday and released.
She is now at her home in Venice, California, but cannot leave until June 29.
"She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times," said Steve Whitmore, the Los Angeles Sheriff`s spokesman.
The actress was last month ordered to to undertake three years probation, serve 120 days in jail and complete 480 hours of community service for jewelry theft and breaching the terms of her 2007 probation.
Home detention aims to reduce the prison population by allowing non-violent offenders to serve out their sentences in home confinement.
Lohan, who pleaded no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace, had until June 17 to report to the prison but it is thought she wanted to do it sooner rather than later so she can begin shooting her new movie, "Gotti: three Generations"
Rob Lowe ‘feared being bullied over acting dream’
Rob Lowe has spoken of how he used to fear being bullied for wanting to be an actor. The 47-year-old was born in Ohio where he said he felt terrified that someone would ‘beat the living s**t’ out of him for his career aspirations. But he moved to Malibu during his childhood where he made friend with Charlie Sheen and Sean Penn, making him feel more comfortable about his desire to be an actor. “When I was in Ohio, I was the only person I knew who wanted to be an actor,” he explained to Empire Magazine. “This is pre-’Glee’. It was definitely not cool to be different. But in Malibu I uncovered this group of kids who also wanted to be actors. And they just happened to be the Penn brothers and the Sheen brothers. And better, they only lived a few doors down from me. “I thought, ‘Wow, here are people with the same interests that I have. And they’re not actually going to beat the living s**t out of me for having them’.”
Henry Rollins Fans
Rock’s most (arguably) lovable icon seems never to have a lapse of patience — even when a young fan begins accosting him for not recognizing her after a concert. As the story goes, the girl said they had met before, but only in a ‘metaphorical’ way. Henry asks for elaboration on this point. The girl then states that both he and Michael Stipe live in her head, and that the last time the three of them were together, Rollins had watched her and Stipe have sex. But such things are but blips in the life of one whose fans, when they aren’t bidding to sleep with him, chuck canned food at his head.
Daniel Radcliffe Fans
Daniel Radcliffe is young England’s—and now Broadway’s—main asset. While just about any moderately famous person is capable of generating an obsessive fan base, we’re talking about an actor who played a boy wizard while appearing in the nude in a play centered around his character’s obsession with horses. So it’s more than a little strange to find a fan wanting to get closer? Reportedly, one fan sent Radcliffe fake body parts in the mail as a sort of gift — or perhaps a reverse-Van Goghian token of love. Another allegedly had Radcliffe sign her wrist so she could make it into a tattoo.
Bjork Fans
Doomed love, in the context of celebrity obsession, doesn’t often lead to doom. Teenagers and people who obsesses about something as topical as celebrities are seldom willing to take it that far. But Ricardo Lopez, an obsessive Bjork fan, fostered an obsession which led him to a tragic end . Lopez filmed himself making a homemade bomb intended to kill Bjork, filmed all 18 hours of production while explaining the nature of his obsession with the singer, and then shot himself dead. The video is online if you’re twisted enough to seek it out, but long story short Bjork is Icelandic, which means she hails from a country of around 300,000 people — barely enough to qualify for medium-sized city. That means this sad sack became obsessed and killed himself over what we in America would call “Someone from Cleveland“
Kate Moss Fans
Madonna Fans
Graffiti, an ice pick, an SVU. What do all these things have in common? If not the film Basic Instinct, then surely Madonna. Such were the instruments of terror a fan used to convey his appreciation for Madonna’s music last September, when he parked outside her New York apartment spray-painting messages of love on street signs and begging her to be with him. It’s a tempting offer, but considering the fact that (brace yourself to feel old) Madonna’s pushing mid-50s he might want to invest in a younger pop star. I hear Rebecca Black is single and might turn 18 this decade.
Rebecca Black Fans
Rebecca Black has spawned, apart from other things, the strangest fan of all: Lady Gaga. In a bizarre PR move worthy of Charlie Sheen, Gaga defended Black’s beleaguered music video attempt ‘Friday’ as a work of art — and Black herself as a genius to be reckoned with. While this seems pretty unbelievable for a song that involves such profound existential questions like what seat to choose in your friend’s car, let’s keep in mind that 80% of Lady Gaga’s lyrics consist of repeating nonsense words that rhyme with “Gaga”.
Nicki Minaj Fans
From the onset of her career, Nicki Minaj has inspired odd behavior in her fans — but none as odd as a certain die-hard who recently got a gigantic tattoo of her face on his calf. First off, let’s be honest. Her face is not the most recognizable part of Nicki Minaj. Second, a calf tattoo pales in comparison to this fan, who tattooed “Nicki Minaj” on his hands, ensuring that he can never go to another job interview without looking like a serial killer or a hypochondriac. Or something so much worse: a Nicki Minaj fan.
Lady Gaga Fans
The problem with exalting one’s fans to ‘freak’ status is that, after awhile, some begin to wear the title with a bit too much pride. While there’s a fine line between “Lady Gaga Conversation” and “Lady Gaga Conversation Killers” the phrase “I totally murdered my cat and bathed in its blood” falls pretty solidly in the “Crazy at Any Time” category. While we’re mincing words it is a pretty fair observation that the only thing separating this fan from Lady Gaga is how long the animal was dead before they decided to wear its entrails.
Lil’ Wayne Fans
No one can say that Lil’ Wayne isn’t a good role model. The deathless appeal of the man not only attracts an interesting fanbase (Paris Hilton?) but inspires in his fans more innovation in their madcap approaches to meet him than most. It wasn’t a normal stage-crash incident but a brilliant coup when in February, a Weezy fan crashed and robbed the star on the set of a music video while posing as a back-up dancer, only in hopes of returning the stolen goods to Wayne in
Chris Brown Fans
Once upon a time, Chris Brown had a following made up of girls who would have jumped barricades to be with him. Now he has to make due with girls who will shave his album title into the back of their head. But perhaps the craziest fans are the thousands who lined up to defend him against the pretty clear cut domestic violence charges he faced — toting such time-honored phrases from the 19th century like “She provoked him”, “I’ll bet Rhianna was the one who hit him first”, and perhaps most hilarious/depressing for humanity in general: “GIVE THE KID A BREAK IT’S HIS FIRST TIME IN HIS FOUR YEAR CAREER!”
Justin Bieber Fans
When historians look back on our time, they will think of Justin Bieber not foremost as an artist or oddity, but as the 21st century’s foremost inciter of mass hysteria. From inspiring mob violence to mass acts of male vanity (grab the straightening iron, boys/boyish lesbians!), there was perhaps no more insane act of Bieber vigilantism than when a fan stole a water bottle sipped by the star and auctioned it off on TradeMe to the tune of $624. Though this crazy fan could be cast as simply a savvy business person, the same could not be said of the fan who shelled out 600 big ones for Justin Bieber’s backwash.
Rudolph Valentino Fans
Celebrity obsessers in 1926 may not have had e-bay and iPhones, but they knew how to make their presence known. Rudolph Valentino, the foremost sex symbol of the silent era, died at the peak of his career, leaving in his wake a string of ambiguously linked suicides. One involved a young mother trying to shoot herself and then being arrested for attempted self-murder — her body was discovered passed out in a pile of photos of Valentino. In an era where the only free time activities involved pole-sitting and watching various animals get electrocuted, the death of your favorite star probably did seem like the end of the world. So next time someone complains about the endless stream of interchangeable pop stars shat out by the industry, remind them that Justin Bieber saves lives.
Selena Fans
In a dark twist uncharacteristic of the lives of ‘90s pop superstars, Selena was killed by the president of her fan club. Though embezzlement and betrayal were factors in the case, accusations of lesbianism were also thrown in the mix by the time the story reached tabloids, making the 23-year-old singer’s murder prime television biopic material — especially after the future President of the United States declared an official “Selena Day” in honor of her death.
