Justin Timberlake and Ashley Olsen Not Romantically Involved

Justin Timberlake’s rep has denied reports of the singer/actor ‘hooking –up’ with Ashley Olsen, calling it rumors.

Timberlake and former child actor turned entrepreneur, Olsen, were recently seen together at several New York City hot spots. They reportedly dined together at the Greenwich Hotel, attended a Saturday Night Live after-party, a polo match and even checked out the Broadway show Sleep No More.

Timberlake, 30, and Ashley, 24, both recently turned single, presumably triggered fan speculation after being spotted out on the town together.

The two stars have a lot in common: they are both former Disney artists and they both own fashion lines; Justin's collection is named William Rast and Ashley's line, in collaboration with sister Mary-Kate Olsen, is named The Row.

In a recent interview with Vanity fair, Justin talked about his past relationships with Britney Spears and Jessica Biel.

In the interview, which appears in the Magazine’s July issue, Timberlake says Jessica is the most special person in his 30 years of life.

"She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life, I would rather not talk about her, because it's hurtful for me."

He admitted to being ready to settle down saying, “as little as six months ago I wouldn't have even thought about that, but now it feels like a closer planet orbiting around.

Timberlake, it was reported, broke up with Jessica Biel this past March after four years of dating. Ashley Olsen too, around the same month, broke up with actor Justin Bartha after dating him since 2008.

Selena Gomez spent the night with Justin Bieber at his grandparents' house in Toronto, Canada, Thursday night.

Early next morning, Justin, 17, was spotted escorting Selena, 18, out of the house on her way back to her hotel, with Selena wearing the same black and white stripped top that she had worn the evening earlier.

Selena is in Toronto, Canada visiting Justin's family. On Wednesday, she accompanied the Bieber family to a local park, where Selena was spotted playing with Justin's toddler half-siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon, as Justin's father, Jeremy Jack Bieber, happily clicked photographs.

Before arriving in Toronto, the couple spent time with Selena's family in Texas.

Audrina Patridge Straggling Relationship

Audrina Patridge’s straggling relationship with her beau Corey Bohan, it may be not the last time she finds herself in-between two guys – and with Bohan it can spell trouble.

They had it switched from on to off and on again so often that time and again Patridge is all for sidling up to some other man, but Bohan keeps tabs on her and can get really angry – like this time. When they were apart, the reality star’s show Audrina had an episode out that showed Patridge and polo star Nic Roldan moving to a more personal base, within a day Bohan was strewing threats on Twitter.

His “friendly warning” (that sounded quite rude) said that when he saw Roldan he would rip his head off his shoulders.

In May Patridge, who recently turned 26, and her Australian racer boy, 29, were back together again. Bohan must have been celebrating it, for it wasn’t long before he was hauled in for public intoxication. The Hermosa Beach Police Department filed a charge of misdemeanor and put the racer inside for something like 8 hours, until a $500 bail was posted.

Patridge’s Twitter comment on the incident touched upon the badness of Jack Daniels who does things to people – although it seems that Jack is not the only one who is to blame in this case…

Blake Lively, Leonardo DiCaprio Continue Romance in Venice

Blake Lively was spotted romancing Leonardo DiCaprio in Venice Italy on Thursday, June 2, even as more nude photos, allegedly of her, continued to be posted on the internet.

It was Blake's first public spotting since a hacker posted cell phone photos allegedly showing the Gossip Girl star posing naked.

Blake's rep claimed the photos were 100% fake, prompting the hacker to post another similar set of photos as a challenge to the rep's assertion.

According to People magazine, Blake arrived in Venice on a private jet on Wednesday and checked into Hotel Cipriani with Leonardo.

The next day, the couple took a boat ride and shared some happy times together, giggling as they playfully licked their melting ice-creams.

In the evening, the couple met up with Naomi Campbell and boyfriend Vladimir Doronin.

They spent Friday together by the poolside.

Blake, 23, and Leonardo, 36, were first spotted getting cozy during the Cannes Film Festival and have spent a lot of time together since then in Europe. Last Friday they were spotted taking a romantic stroll in Monte Carlo.

The two latest stars purchasing one-way tickets are Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried — at least that’s the web Us Weekly is weaving. “It was mutual…They were never fully committed,” a source told the mag. They reportedly dated for seven months after meeting at Kate Hudson’s Halloween party and briefly called it quits in February before getting back together in the spring.

Phillippe previously dated Australian actress Abbie Cornish, 28, while Seyfried split with British beau Dominic Cooper, 32, last, ending a three-year relationship. Seyfried enjoyed a romantic weekend break in Santa Barbara with Phillippe on the same late March weekend that his ex-wife, actress Reese Witherspoon, married William Morris agent Jim Toth just a few miles away in Ojai, California.

An unidentified squeal tells Us that Philippe, 36, and the Red Riding Hood star, 25, were “always on and off,” but Seyfried decided to stand by Phillippe when it was revealed last March that he had likely fathered a baby with ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp.

Lindsay Lohan Electronic Monitoring Device Triggered

House arrest got very interesting for Lindsay Lohan on Monday. The scandal-prone starlet is just a little over a week into a 35 day home detention sentence for “allegedly” shoplifting a necklace from a Venice jewelry store back in January, but the cops came knocking after the house-arrest electronic anklet Lindsay was fitted with was triggered.

And no one is exactly sure why.

Steve Honic, a spokesman for the actress, tells The Los Angeles Times that “as part of standard procedure to make sure the monitoring equipment was working properly” law enforcement officials visited Lohan’s Venice townhouse, where they found her watching her 3D TV, reading scripts, and reading on her rooftop patio. Lohan attorney Shawn Holley says a representative from the monitoring company eventually replaced the “malfunctioning” bracelet with a new one.

“Lindsay’s electronic monitoring system went off on Monday. When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there. The equipment was replaced the following day.”

Lohan’s turned her luxurious pad into a personal spa since her confinement. Loose-lipped squeals close to Linds report that the “Mean Girl” has hired Los Angeles-based yoga and wellness firm Kuladevi to educate her “on detoxification and nutrition, yoga and functional fitness training and re-connective healing in private sessions” during her month on house arrest.

“She plans on doing lots of painting, reading, and is enlisting the help of an in-house yoga service to help her relax spiritually and reflect on her future,” says a friend.

Meanwhile, Lindsay was reportedly taking preventative steps to protect herself should she have been sentenced to prison in her theft case.

“Lindsay is absolutely terrified she’d get punched in the face by crazy inmates if she ended up in jail,” tells a source. “She had her people take out a policy in case her nose got broken.”

Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Selling Beverly Hills Home For $60 Million

Daytime host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have put the Beverly Hills compound where they hosted their 2008 wedding on the market for a whooping $60 million, TheRealEstalker.com dished this week.

The home -– located in a gated community with views of the Los Angeles basin –- counts a pool, fitness center, staff quarters, lavish gardens, a wood-burning pizza oven, separate staff and guest quarters, an outdoor living area, a 10-car underground garage, and a state-of the-art security system among its slew of amenities. They originally bought the 9,000-square-foot (836-square-meter) main house from Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick for $29 million in 2007 and quickly became making it their own. El and Portia bought the three surrounding houses for a combined $19 million, bulldozing one of them to create a private park.

The main house and the property’s extensive grounds will be sold for $49 million. The two additional houses can be yours for another $11 million.

Jessica Simpson And Ashlee Simpson To Create Tween Fashion Line

Ashlee Simpson has teamed up with sister Jessica Simpson to add a new tween clothing line to Jessica Simpson Collection.

This is the first time the two sisters are collaborating on a venture and they both plan to be the co-creative directors of the new collection.

The collection will focus primarily on daily wear specially denim and activewear, reports fashion magazine WWD.

The collection will include Knit tops, hoodies, pullovers, striped shrunken knits, graphic T-shirts, drawstring pants, footwear and outerwear.

Both sisters are upbeat about their collaboration.

"I'm excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens." Jessica told WWD.

"My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion," says Ashlee.

The clothing and footwear will be available in 400 stores across United States and Canada coming this fall.

Jessica Simpson Jeanswear and Jessica Simpson Sportswear distributors, The Jones Group, will once again collaborate with Jessica for this line.

Jessica initially ventured into clothing business in 2007. In 2010 alone she made $750 million in retail sales and is expected to reach $1billion mark in 2011, according to WWD.

Sean Penn Scarlett Johansson Call It Quits

They were both on the rebound, had a 25 year age gap, and were only together for about five minutes, but for some reason news of Sean and Scarlett’s split hit the blogosphere like a ton of bricks when PEOPLE Magazine broke the news Thursday evening that the unlikely couple had parted ways after four months of dating.

Penn — who won a Best Actor Oscar for his 2008 biopic Milk — first connected with Scarlett when the couple met on a humanitarian mission to Haiti earlier this year. Rumors of a hookup went into overdrive when the couple were photographed getting frisky over lunch at a Los Angeles restaurant. The pair attended a White House Correspondents’ Dinner party in Washington in April, shortly after we first heard that they were living together.

Emmy Awards moves between the four major US TV networks each year and this fall it’ll be FOX hosting TV’s biggest night. Actors, comedians and late-night talk show hosts have always served as emcees for this evening awards show, which began in 1949. Network execs are confident that Lynch’s irreverant sense of humor would make her an ideal candidate to join the ranks of great Emmy presenters of the past, such as Dancing With the Stars’ Tom Bergeron and NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon. Jane, who plays Glee’s scheming cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, won the statuette for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy at the 2010 ceremony.

“Jane was my first — and only — choice as the host for this year’s Primetime Emmys, and I am glad she said ‘yes,’” says executive producer Mark Burnett. “She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host.”

Lynch is only the third woman to ever host the Emmys solo, following a trend started by Murder She Wrote’s Angela Lansbury in 1993 and continued when Ellen Degeneres did the honors in 2005.

Octomom Fertility Doctor Loses California State Medical License

Michael Kamrava, the doctor who gave Nadya “Octomom” Suelman the fertility treatments that turned the single, unemployed woman already dependent on food stamps for survival into a mother of 14 kids under age 12, has lost the right to practice medicine in the State of California. The state’s medical board revoked Kamrava’s certification on Wednesday after finding that the practitioner endangered “public safety” when he implanted Suleman with multiple embyros in 2008.

She became only the second woman in the United States to ever deliver a full-set of octuplets when her eight youngest children were born in Jan. 2009.

Twilights Taylor Lautner Dropped by Publicist

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has been dropped by his publicist — over claims that his dad is too demanding, according to reports. Lautner was represented by Slate PR’s Robin Baum, but she reportedly resigned from the role after just three months. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s claimed the 19-year-old actor’s father, Daniel Lautner, is difficult to work with. Lautner’s management did not return the US magazine’s call for a comment and Baum, who also represents actors Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig, would not comment about the matter either.

This year’s Emmy will be hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch it was announced today.

The 50-year-old, Jane Lynch has generated a lot of attention from her TV show Glee, gaining recognition in the TV showbiz industry as a talented comedian.

Lynch is the third female actor/comedian to host the Emmys, after Angela Lansbury and Ellen DeGeneres.

The show's producers for the 2011 Emmy’s said they had no doubt in their minds about their selection. Lynch has incredible comic timing "whose energy leaps off the screen and stage”, said executive producer Mark Burnett.

Lynch got her first two nominations in 2010 and won her first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Series for her work in Glee . Her other nomination was for her role in the Two and a Half Men in the category for Outstanding Guest Actress – Primetime Comedy Series.

Lynch plays ‘Sue Sylvester’ in the musical TV series Glee and performed the opening number, "Born to Run", with host Jimmy Fallon and rest of Glee cast members.

The 2011 Primetime Emmys will air live on Fox from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, September 18, 2011.

Indian and American Sukanya Roy wins 84th Scripps National Spelling Bee

Sukanya Roy, an eighth-grader at Abington Heights Middle School, won the 2011 Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday night, correctly spelling ‘periscii’ and ‘cymotrichous’ to win the title. She will will take home more than $40,000 in cash and prizes. Sukanya Roy became the fourth consecutive Indian-American, and the ninth Indian American to win the title in the last 12 years.The ultimate test for school kids, the Scripps National Spelling Bee has been wrung into an inspiring novel, a documentary, a feature film and a Broadway musical. So what makes Indians click at contests like the Spelling Bee? Is it their penchant for the language, their ability to study by rote, or is it their desire to stand out in the crowd of immigrants that have made the US their home?

Here are a few Indian-Americans who won the Scripps National Spelling Bee contest:

Anamika Veeramani in 2010: The 14-year-old from North Royalton, Ohio, successfully spelled the words ‘Juvia’ and ‘Stromuhr’ to become the Bee’s 83rd champion. Repeating the community’s feat of 2005, when Anurag Kashyap, Aliya Deri, Samir Patel and Rajiv Tarigopula won the top four positions.

Kavya Shivshankar in 2009: Kavya Shivshankar of Olethe, Kansas, spelt the word ‘Laodicean’ to claim the title in 2009. Kavya who finished fourth in 2008, cracked words like ‘Escritoire’, ‘Hydrargyrum’, ‘Blancmange’, ‘Baignoire’, ‘Ecossaise’, ‘Diacoele’, ‘Bouquiniste’, ‘Isagoge’, and ‘Phoresy’ to win the coveted title.

Sameer Mishra in 2008: After watching his sister’s unsuccessful attempt to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee, Sameer Mishra set himself on a mission to win the Scripps. And he did it in style when he aced the word ‘Guerdon’ to win the 81st National Spelling Bee contest. Sameer became the first speller to win the title after misspelling his onstage word in the preliminary round.

Anurag Kashyap in 2005: Correctly spelling the word ‘Appoggiatura’, Anurag Kashyap clinched the 2005 edition of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Anurag whizzed through relatively common words such as ‘Prosciutto’, an Italian dry-cured ham, and difficult ones such as ‘Sphygmomanometer’, an instrument for measuring blood pressure.

Sai R. Gunturi in 2003: Sai R. Gunturi, a 13-year-old from Dallas, Texas, won the 76th Annual Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee with the word ‘Pococurante’. He survived 15 rounds to emerge as the 2003 national champion. Among the words Sai spelt correctly en route to the title were ‘Marmoraceous’, ‘Mistassini’, ‘Solfeggio’, ‘Voussoir’, ‘Halogeton’, ‘Dipnoous’, ‘Peirastic’, and ‘Rhathymia’.

Pratyush Buddiga in 2002: Pratyush Buddiga won the 75th Annual Scripps National Spelling Bee when he correctly spelt the word ‘Prospicience’ in the 11th round.

George Abraham Thampy in 2000: Nicknamed ‘Georgie’, George Abraham Thampy of St Louis, Missouri, spelt the word ‘Demarche’ to win the 73rd edition of the Scripps National Spelling Bee contest. Thampy also competed in the National Geographic Bee in 2000, taking second place in that competition one week before he won the National Spelling Bee.

Nupur Lala in 1999: She spelt the word ‘Logorrhea’ to be crowned the champion of the 72nd Scripps National Spelling Bee. She edged out David Lewandowski who missed out on the word ‘Opsimath’. She was also a part of the 2002 documentary ‘Spellbound’, that followed eight competitors in the 1999 Scripps National Spelling Bee. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Documentary Feature.

Rageshree Ramachandran in 1988: Rageshree Ramachandran won the Bee when she was in the eighth grade – her winning word was ‘Elegiacal’. At age 15, she won a $10,000 Westinghouse Science Talent Search scholarship and always lists her championship on her resumes and applications.

Balu Natarajan in 1985: In 1985, Balu Natarajan beat out his competitors by spelling ‘Milieu’ to become an overnight sensation for the Indian-American community. Now a doctor of sports medicine, Balu Natarajan was quoted as saying, “Indian record on spelling bees gives the community quite a bit of confidence that we can do well here, much like other ethnicities pursuing the American dream.”

Just like big names from the film industry and celebrities from other walks of life, Indians who have won the Scripps National Spelling Bee contest have given the Indian community a reason to believe that they too can achieve a lot in a country that they migrated to and dream to live the great American life.

Just Lean or Too Bony: LeAnn Rimes

RadarOnline has called in an expert in an attempt to settle the dispute over LeAnn Rimes’s appearance that raged through the weekend on Twitter. Quite a number of people reacted (or overreacted) to the country artist’s figure that has evidently gotten leaner still.

As Rimes tried to tweet back to a comment that sounded especially biting, calling the 28-year-old singer’s body “scary skinny,” it had only served to fan the flame.

What sticks out is abs, not bones, replied the singer, adding that she is quite healthy and “just lean.” But it seems that few health experts could endorse that view.

RadarOnline relegated the issue to Dr. Majid Ali, a member of the American Board of Anatomic & Clinical Pathology and editor of the Journal of Integrative Medicine, who – though he did not treat Rimes – is undoubtedly in a position to utter judgment. What he said went contrary to the Grammy-winning artist’s arguments.

Dr. Ali was certain that Rimes’ body shows not abs but pelvic bones, which means she is extremely underweight, and she definitely does not look as she should. He estimated her weight at around 100 pounds – a condition he called “dripping wet.”

Rimes does look different in older photos taken before she got married to Eddie Cibrian. Dr. Ali said her weight was something like 135 pounds which suits her constitution much better – making it a clear case of unhealthy weight loss.

Rimes’ reps failed to offer any comment on that so far. The singer stated in a Twitter message in April that she neither overstrained herself nor cut down on her meals.
