It’s a boy! A heavily pregnant Kim Zolciak and her beau, Atlanta Falcons star Kroy Biermann, were joined by 110 of their closet friends and family members at their home outside Atlanta last week, where the couple hosted a baby shower in celebration of the upcoming arrival of their first son together.
The allegedly 32-year-old star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta was positively glowing as she posed for pictures with Kroy, a 25-year-old star with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Zolciak donned a floor sweeping strapless gown by Rafael Cennamo while Kroy looked dapped in a black suit and waistcoat.
“I put so much time into making it perfect,” Kim told Life & Style Magazine about the event, which was planned by Wedding Soiree. “I’m really happy.”
Kim’s Real Housewives co-stars Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield were also in the house for the shower.
“I really wanted the baby shower to be special for Kroy,’ says Kim, ‘this being his first baby – and a boy.. I just don’t know what to do with a boy – I’m all girls!’ But I hear the bond of a mother and son is like no other,” says Zolciak, who has two daughters from her first marriage.
The pair, who have only been dating for 10 months are also moving in together ahead of the impending arrival. Both say they had instant chemistry when they met at a Dancing Stars of Atlanta charity event filmed for her reality show back in 2010. But they’ll be no wedding bells ringing just yet.
“We found a house that we are in love with in Atlanta. Kroy has another year with the Falcons, so we have another year or more here…We’ll be moved in before the baby is born. I do have every intention of being with him. He’s perfect for me. But we’re not engaged.”
