Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed that Shirish Kunder helmed Kick, headlining Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, will begin production in September.
The film is a remake of the similarly titled Telugu action romance drama directed by Surender Reddy starring Ravi Teja. Its a story of a man who loves challenges in life and does things to a get kick out of them.
It was reported in the fall of 2010 that Salman will hire Philippe Guegan, a stunt coordinator of international repute, to choreograph action sequences in the film.
"For Kick we needed to take the action to another level, not just for Salman but also for Indian cinema. Yes, Philippe Guegan has agreed to come down to Mumbai in September and personally train Salman," Sajid Nadiadwala told Mumbai Mirror.
Salman is currently wrapping filming of Aseem Bazmi's Ready and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's production Bodyguard.
Sonakshi has just begun filming of her second film, 3D action SciFi Joker, which is also helmed by Shirish Kunder.
